It leads to forgiveness – Isaiah 55:6–7 (ESV) — 6 “Seek the Lord while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; 7 let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
It leads to blessing – Psalm 119:2 (ESV) — 2 Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart,
It leads to provision – Psalm 34:8–10 (ESV) — 8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him! 9 Oh, fear the Lord, you his saints, for those who fear him have no lack! 10 The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.
It leads to protection – Psalm 27:4–5 (ESV) — 4 One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple. 5 For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock.
It leads to renewed strength – Isaiah 40:30–31 (ESV) — 30 Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; 31 but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
It leads to rejoicing – Psalm 40:16 (ESV) — 16 But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation say continually, “Great is the Lord!”
